I downloaded Yelp after using Tripadvisor for a few months and realizing it was like The Price is Right where the points dont matter Yelp works Wish it was a little more smooth to post a review with pictures all at once you have to post the review then add photos later But I find it relatively accurate as far as the ratings people give and my experiences so it has been helpful Love that the Bookmarks pull over to a map Very convenient for finding somewhere local to eatentertain myself Works for reviewing local spots

I think yelp is a very useful tool although I think some of the non recommended reviews should be recommended sometimes I dont understand how you guys do that but overall I like the app
Yelp is my go to app when I want to rate a place I have been but I use it most often to find new places to try and Im always pleased with the selection My go to app
When Im looking for something I am fairly specific I want a bar not a bar and grill with kids Not a tavern that serves food Just a freaking bar Searching for tacos shouldnt bring up a Chinese or Italian restaurant WTF Search options are very often way off

Ive been using Yelp for years As a person who travels and moves around a lot the reviews are necessary to my being able to set up in a new place and I usually find them accurate As a user I work to be as fair in my reviews as well I find the algorithm for reviews to be consistent with my opinions I think if I were a business owner I might have some beef with Yelp but business owners have contacted me and have resolved my issues which I think is much better than having a customer continue to be upset Works for my needs

Crashes when the network isnt stable UI is kind of cluttered and tedious For example why not let me rate when I checkin the first time Not a big deal with a fast connection but when network is crap its the difference between posting a review and not Could be a lot better

If you read the policy page it says businesses should NOT ask their customers to rate their experience on yelp because the reviews would become biased for that company since the company would only ask customers who had a good experience to leave a review With that being said its quite funny how yelp bugs aka ASK me to write a review for them every single time I open up their APP to search for a company Double standard Guess they can make up their own rules and be total liars Contradicts its own policies

The service is good but the food use to be good but recently has really gone down hill Ive been coming here for years and unfortunately the food has become worse Apparently having foreign objects in your food is okay with the manager I found pieces of paper from a straw in my beef bowl I called the manager told her what happened and then put me on hold forever I had to reexplain my situation she was laughing Im disgusted with the response and the food Hygiene apparently they dont care Disgusted and disappointed

Was low on gas and searched for the closest BP it was miles past my exit and I was running late but since I didnt know the area I followed the directions The station that the app took me to was an Exxon not BP Backtracked to the exit that I should have gotten off at and there was a BP less than half a mile away Would have been better off never opening this junk app Uninstalling Worthless App with inaccurate data
